online. This is our policy regarding the privacy of information we collect
on this website and all site-related services (collectively, the "Site").
Note that, by accessing and/or using the Site, you signify your agreement
to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to this Policy, please do not
access or use the Site. We reserve the right to modify this Policy at any
time without prior notice. Your continued use of the Site subsequent to

Information Gathered/Tracked by Us
We gather two types of data about users: (a) personal information, which
individual users provide through registration to the Site for access to
certain content or services, and for purposes of participating in the
Discussion Forums (all such users, "Subscribers"), and voluntarily at
certain other points; and (b) tracking information, which is automatically
collected about every visitor to the site, both Subscribers and
non-subscribers.
Personal Information Personal information is gathered in several ways.
First, when a user registers with the Site, he or she is required to
provide his or her name and email address, and to select a password.
Additionally, we ask Subscribers to provide us with the name of their
organization, their industry focus, and their geographic location.
In addition to registration for subscriptions, you may be required to
enter personal information at other times, including (but not limited to)
when you take a survey on the Site. If you contact us (including, but not
limited to, contact through email), we may keep a record of that
correspondence. Wherever we collect personal information, we will make an
effort to include a link to this Privacy Policy on that page.
Email Updates During the registration process, Subscribers may opt to
receive various email updates that we send out, including daily, weekly
or periodic updates of conferences, selected stories, and risk
management information, which may include some advertisements and
hyperlinks to the Site. Additionally, your contact information may have
been collected by attending a Kamakura sponsored conference, industry
related conference or personally given to Kamakura Corporation by the
subscriber, an employee of the subscriber or an affiliate of the subscriber. Any Subscriber who wishes to be removed from the
mailing lists of one or more of these updates can do so at any time by
visiting the Kamakura Home page and selecting the subscription button or
by emailing
webmaster@kamakuraco.com. Discussion Forums We provide
Discussion Forums for user discussion of various topics. Only
Subscribers are permitted to post or read messages on the Discussion
Forums. Please note that information that you post to a Discussion Forum
will be available for any user of that service to read, and is no longer
private.
Surveys/Polls Subscribers may participate in risk management surveys on
the Site, which are usually for purposes of allowing (a) users to
benchmark their firm's risk management policies against industry best
practices, or (b) us to obtain general information about our users, for
example, their risk management experience or their reactions to a
particular article on our site. Because information obtained in these
surveys is connected with individual users, participation is voluntary.
