President & Chief Operating Officer
Warren Sherman currently serves as Kamakura’s president and chief operating officer. He joined the company in February 2002 as managing director and continues to be responsible for the company's client technical services and products. He oversaw the installation and design of the Kamakura Risk Manager credit risk, market risk, performance measurement and asset and liability management systems, and manages the Kamakura On-Line Processing Services (KOPS) and Kamakura Risk Information Services (KRIS) product lines.
Warren is an eleven-year veteran of the Sungard Global Markets Division of Sungard Data Systems, where he was responsible for the design of the Global TraderTM and eGlobal TraderTM sell-side trading systems.
From 1986 to 1991, Warren served as vice president and manager of Global Trading and Distribution Systems at First Interstate Bank in Los Angeles and London. Prior to this he served as vice president and assistant treasurer for short-term finance at First Interstate Bancorp and as a vice president of operations at First Interstate Bank.
Warren was a Fulbright Scholar in economic philosophy in Yugoslavia, and attended Loyola Marymount University's masters program in business administration and operations research. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Hope College.
Warren resides in Montana with his wife and two children.
